Public Entity Defense
We defend public entities (i.e. local municipalities, such as cities, counties, and school districts) in claims including, but not limited to: inverse condemnation, dangerous condition of public property, nuisance, and civil rights actions.
Moreover, we handle 42 U.S.C. §1983 lawsuits on behalf of law enforcement agencies and individual, officers, concerning excessive force, deliberate indifference to medical needs, false arrests, Monell liability, First Amendment claims, negligent hiring, training, and supervision, as well as related state law claims.
Employment Law
We handle employment cases on behalf of both employers and employees, including, but not limited to: retaliation, harassment, discrimination, (based on age, disability, gender, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion and sexual orientation), wrongful termination, contractual issues, and assorted wages and hour issues.
We also provide counseling on policies, protocols, and risk management for private and public employers.
General Torts
We defend and prosecute general tort claims, such as premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
