FURAH Z. FARUQUI
Furah Z. Faruqui is the founder and principal of FZF LAW, P.C. She is an energetic litigation attorney based in Walnut Creek representing both public and private sector clients in a wide range of legal matters, including police misconduct and civil rights actions, employment practices, and general torts. Throughout her career, Ms. Furah Z. Faruqui has demonstrated an exceptional work ethic, the capability to operate under demanding deadlines, and the ability to develop strong relationships with opposing counsel and the courts, making her an effective advocate for her clients. These strengths, combined with her positive approach to the practice of the law, have resulted in a track record of success in litigation.
Ms. Faruqui has tried to verdict a diverse array of cases in both federal and state courts. In addition, she has appeared and argued at the appellate level in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, California Court of Appeal, and California Supreme Court.
Prior to founding FZF LAW, Ms. Faruqui served as Assistant City Attorney for Redwood City and Deputy City Attorney II for Vallejo. In addition to her litigation duties, she had a significant advisory practice focused on providing advice and representation to City departments including Police, Human Resources, Public Works, Parks and Recreation, Library and Code Enforcement.
